WiFi Antenna on ESP32

Some thoughts on Wifi Antenna on ESP32

The first rule with changing any antenna is it is best left alone. Modifying and designing antennae is more a dark art than science.

Ok, that is doubless an overstatement, but unless you know what you are doing and/or are prepared to tweak things, use a commercially designed antenna. Such as the on-board one on many ESP32 modules or use a module that allows an external antenna. Probably at best, you'll build a reflector for you WiFi module and make it more directional. Otherwise if you have a weak signer try to move the Access Point and your device closer together, or perhaps use a repeater...

Right keen to ignore that advice? Lets dig in... ...and look at some stuff I'd not endorse you trying.
